BRANNAN, Legate - Putnam

Legate Brannan died suddenly at 5:30 p.m. last evening at the Johnson County Nursing Home in Franklin. Funeral services at the Mutz Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow will be in charge of Reverend Ray Bozell. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery here. Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 7 p.m. tonight. Mr. Brannan was born at Greencastle, Indiana Feb 29, 1869. His parents were Thomas and Mary Legate Brannan. In early life he came to the Edinburg community and engaged in farming a short distance north of town. His wife, the former Louise O’Hair died Aug 23, 1938. Surviving children are Frank N. Brannan and Mrs. Dewey Robertson of Edinburg. An infant daughter preceded in death. Grandchildren are Roy L. Brannan, Indianapolis; Mrs. Hansel A. Taylor, Martinsville and Franklin Snyder of Columbus. There are two great grandchildren.
